Why You’ll Love Mac and Cheese Pizza
- This is a fantastic way to use up leftover mac and cheese. Repurpose it as a pizza topping instead of letting it go to waste!
- Make homemade mac and cheese pizza in just 45 minutes. That’s honestly about the same amount of time it takes to order pizza and wait for delivery.
- The flavor combo is like the best of classic comfort combined into one dish. So yummy!
Ingredients for Macaroni and Cheese Pizza
- Refrigerated pizza dough – You can either grab some store-bought pizza dough or make your own homemade pizza dough.
- Olive oil – Brush the pizza dough with olive oil before adding the toppings.
- Italian seasoning – You can use Italian seasoning or pizza seasoning to sprinkle over the pizza dough and add a nice herby flavor.
- Garlic powder – Make a garlic butter crust with a little splash of garlic powder. Add extra garlic flavor with some fresh minced garlic!
- Shredded parmesan cheese – Don’t use the bottled shakeable parmesan, grate your own fresh cheese instead.
- Shredded sharp cheddar cheese – Using cheddar cheese will help to tie in the macaroni and cheese topping.
- Shredded mozzarella cheese – For the most gooey and melty results, grate your own mozzarella cheese.
- Macaroni and cheese – Make some boxed mac and cheese or a homemade stovetop mac and cheese.
- Bacon – I love to make bacon in the oven and then crumble it up to use as a topping on this pizza mac.
