Can I use homemade cinnamon rolls to make easter bunny twists?
You can absolutely use homemade cinnamon rolls to make these bunny twists. Make sure to slice the dough into one and a half inch strips using a pizza cutter or sharp knife. Then fold them over and twist just as the instructions here call for.
Homemade cinnamon rolls are made with yeast, so you’ll need to a lot time for them to rise, along with the rest of the process, in your total time for this recipe.
Can I use store-bought frosting?
To save a bit of time, you can use a can of store bought frosting instead of making your own. A lot of the time a canned frosting will come with the refrigerated cinnamon rolls. The homemade frosting is thicker so it holds the “bunny tail” shape a bit better but the premade will work! Plus, the flavor won’t be as tasty, but it will still be great!
Pro Tips for the Best Cinnamon Twist Easter Bunnies
