- Heavy whipping cream – Make the sauce extra extra creamy by adding in some heavy whipping cream. Half and half and whole milk would also work.
- Cream of mushroom soup – The key ingredient to this easy dinner recipe is simply a can of cream of mushroom soup.
- Salt and black pepper – Season the pork chops with a bit of salt and pepper to bring out all the flavors.

Add some olive oil to a skillet over medium-high heat, and once the pan is hot, add the pork chops. Cook it for 4-5 minutes per side until golden.
Once the pork chops are browned on both sides, take the pork chops out of the pan and set it aside.
Add the butter to the pan, let it melt, then add the mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Cook the mushrooms, stirring occasionally, until the water has been released, it cooks off, and they get a nice sear.
Add the minced garlic, chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, and cream of mushroom soup to the pan. Give everything a good stir and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Place the pork chops back into the pan and allow them to simmer in the sauce for another 5 minutes or so until cooked through and the sauce has thickened a bit.
