Easy, No-Bake Taco Dip starts with a layer of seasoned cream cheese, then is topped with shredded lettuce, salsa, cheese, tomatoes and black olives. It’s an easy appetizer that’s always gone at the end of the party. Grab your tortilla chips and dig in!

This tasty taco dip is a fabulous appetizer to serve at any party! It’s so creamy and is packed full of flavor. If you need to keep your oven space free to make hot spinach dip, jalapeño poppers, or ham and cheese sliders, then this no-bake dip is perfect.
I love making this for game-day parties or Summer cookouts. Everyone always raves about it! The only downside is that I never have any leftovers to munch on after the party. But I guess that’s ok, because it’s so easy to just whip up another batch.
Make this mouthwateringly delicious cream cheese taco dip the next time you need a simple appetizer along with these Tortilla Pinwheels and Buffalo Chicken Dip. Or, just make it as a mid-day snack…no one says you can’t!

Helpful Tools
How to Make Taco Dip
In a medium bowl, combine the room temperature cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning using a hand mixer until smooth and thoroughly incorporated.
Spread the cream cheese mixture in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish in an even layer. Then cover the mixture in salsa and evenly sprinkle cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and black olives on the top.
Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and then place in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and enjoy!
How to Store Leftover Taco Dip
Either place leftover taco dip into an airtight container, or cover the baking dish in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. I do not recommend freezing this dip!
Can I add meat to this taco dip?
Sure! You can make some taco meat and layer it on top of the salsa layer of this dip. Make sure that you drain the meat really well though so that it doesn’t make the cream cheese mixture really liquidy.
Pro Tips!
- Add some extra kick to this dip with sliced jalapeños or serraño peppers or by using a spicy salsa.
- If you want more veggies in this dip, you can add corn, bell pepper, or cucumber.
- Feel free to swap the sour cream for plain greek yogurt if you prefer!
Other appetizers to serve alongside Taco Dip
If you need inspiration for the perfect appetizer table, start with taco dip and then add any of these amazing recipes to your menu.
