Who gets stressed out around the holidays? Insert me raising my hand here!
Everyone is supposed to be happy, cheery and all calm right? Mmmm ya not happening here as I look around my house and think of oh about 100 things I really should be doing. No. Make that 101 things I should doing. It catches up with you. I wish I was one of those lucky people that were all organized and had their Christmas shopping done by November, but when they are starting to think about Christmas in July I just laugh. Instead, remind me to take note and follow along next year. It would be so helpful!
I’m at that point where I’m either going to crack or laugh. Tonight I choose to laugh because where is cracking going to get me except a little bit further behind?
Are you feeling the pressure? Do you want to crack? Instead follow my lead and laugh! Want to know how I’m going to entertain you and get you to laugh? Well, other than those of you that are organized and are laughing at me because I’m so stressed due to my disorganization!
I’m going to show you a little video by our friends over at Contadina. They are doing a few different comedic videos in a series called ‘Somewhat Famous’ . The series is a funny spin off celebrity reality shows, and takes viewers into the kitchens of real moms, who happen to share the same names as A-list celebrities. And boy did I laugh! I also need to take note of “Meg Ryan” and relax about things! I’m probably a little bit more on the side of the host of this video. “Breathe Julie, Breath!”
Now if you have a ton of holiday gatherings that you need to make a little something to take with I’ve set ya up with the perfect appetizer! It’s the amazing Cheesy Bruschetta Dip made with the fabulous Contadina Petite Diced tomatoes. I’m mean, seriously, to-die for. My brother snitched some before dinner and well let’s just say it was about half gone before dinner. In fact, I’m thinking I might take this to every party this year because I like it that much, plus it’s EASY. I’m ready for the EASY button right now. Like, over ready!
Every mealtime masterpiece starts with Contadina and ends with a clean plate. Our mission is to gather families together around the dinner table with our delicious, Italian-style recipes and carefully-sorted Roma-style tomatoes.

Do you think this could be made in a small crockpot to be kept warm throughout the evening?
Brooke Kill says
I’m sure it could be!
Reshel says
Incredible! I subbed out the mayo for Greek yogurt but followed the recipe. Served with oven toasted garlic sourdough bread chunks. Family loved. Thinking about adding fresh chopped basil and maybe Italian ground sausage for a twist. Thank you for a great recipe!
Brooke Kill says
That sounds so delicious!!
Lynn says
This recipe is so easy to make. The dip is absolutely delicious, too! I’ve made it twice and always get rave reviews. Thank you for sharing!

This was so good & so easy! I didn’t have mozzarella so I sub’d muenster and it was fabulous. Thanks for sharing, I’ll be making this more often, along with a few other delights from your site ?
Julie Evink says
So glad you found a keeper! Love that you used muenster!

Thanks for this recipe — I was hosting Thanksgiving this year and really wanted stand-out appetizers. I ended up using two of your recipes! For this one, I altered it slightly by doubling the tomatoes, then adding in finely chopped fresh basil and an extra clove of garlic, and stirring that all together before adding it into the cream cheese/mayo mixture, then the mozz. Baked it till golden brown and served it with fresh baked crostini (thin sliced french bread, brushed with melted butter, olive oil, and parsley, then sprinkled with parmesan cheese and baked for 15 minutes at 400 degrees.) My entire family gave rave reviews! PS. I tried it with crackers this morning but it definitely pairs with the parmesan crostini better. Will definitely make it at future gatherings. Thanks again!!
